2. Subject of the contract & service description
2.1. Tollentrio operates the website tollentrio.com, through which customers can purchase digital road vignettes ("e-vignettes") for European countries that charge a toll for the use of motorways and national roads.
2.2. Tollentrio is an independent service provider and not a government authority. We act as an intermediary that registers e-vignettes on behalf of the Customer with the relevant national toll authority of the respective country.
2.3. Service description: The Customer instructs Tollentrio to register a specific motor vehicle (identified by its number plate) in the electronic database of the competent toll authority of the destination country for a validity period chosen by the Customer and a specific vehicle category. Tollentrio carries out this registration on behalf of the Customer and charges a service fee in addition to the state toll fee. The Customer receives a confirmation of registration by email (and optionally by SMS).
2.4. Currently served countries: Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Switzerland and Moldova. Tollentrio may add or remove countries at any time.
2.5. E-vignettes are issued exclusively by the competent authority of the destination country. Tollentrio has no influence on the authority's decision to issue or refuse an e-vignette. The nature and scope of services provided are subject to the regulations of the respective destination country.
2.6. The vehicle registration number (number plate) provided by the Customer is essential for issuing the e-vignette. The Customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of all data provided, including number plate, country of registration and vehicle category.
2.7. Tollentrio is a private service provider and has no connection with, support from or mandate from any government authority. Customers may purchase e-vignettes directly from the state websites of the respective countries. Our service consists in assisting with the registration process on behalf of the Customer for an additional service fee.
2.8. Customers are informed that they can purchase e-vignettes directly from state providers, usually at a lower price, without the additional service fee charged by Tollentrio.
