Slovakia switched to a fully electronic vignette years ago. Your plate is registered in the eznamka.sk system and roadside cameras take care of the rest.
Vehicle categories
- Vehicle (up to 3.5 t): regular cars and vans
- Trailer O1/O2: trailers towed by M1/N1 vehicles need a separate vignette
Validity periods
Available options: 1-day, 10-day, 30-day and 365-day vignettes.
Fines
Without a vignette you risk up to €300 on the spot, much more in administrative proceedings.
